Although we do not yet have quality certifications, our professional translation services adhere to ISO 17100:2015 and/or ISO 18587:2020 standards, and our Quality Management System complies with ISO 9001:2015.

We also use a Translation Management System certified under the ISO 17100:2015 standard, as well as other IT technologies aligned with ISO/IEC 27001:2013.

We specialize in written translation for documents in PDF, HTML, TXT, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint formats. Likewise, we only offer text translation services in the language pairs indicated in the Calculate prices and delivery times section.

Desktop publishing, transcription, quality control, proofreading, and management of translation memories and termbases are integral parts of our written translation services, NOT offered separately.

Individual clients must pay in advance; new corporate clients pay 50% upfront and the rest before service delivery. Recurring corporate clients can access credit terms after signing a service contract and/or issuing an open or project-specific purchase order. 

We accept bank transfers and cash deposits, both in Mexican pesos and US dollars. Our invoices comply with Mexican tax regulations and international treaties to avoid double taxation, allowing deductions in Mexico and abroad.

Certified translations are physically delivered in Mexico City at the client’s expense, while other services are delivered digitally.

Our team of linguists works in compliance with a strict Quality Management System, in accordance with ISO 9001:2015, following a translation and revision process that includes up to five quality control filters in each project: self-check, integrity and spelling review, specialized revision according to ISO 17100:2015, terminological validation, and proofreading.

We offer a quality guarantee on all our professional translations, which applies to specific errors such as typographical, grammatical, omissions or additions, incorrect meaning, untranslated text, failure to adhere to glossaries shared at the beginning, incorrect cross-references, as well as hidden text in tables or text boxes. 

This guarantee is subject to the following conditions:

• Acronyms, images, and graphs will not be translated unless specifically requested.
• Our translation services do not adapt to personal writing styles or specific advertising styles.
• We reserve the right to reject files with illegible or inadequate-quality texts, as they may not be appropriate for carrying out an efficient translation service.
• For complaints received within 10 business days after delivery, we will review the translation at no additional cost, but the agreed payment must be covered in full. However, in case of persistent dissatisfaction, we will evaluate a partial or full refund, limited in amount and responsibilities to the total value of the corresponding invoice for that service.

Confidentiality is a paramount issue for Andromeda. All our collaborators sign a confidentiality agreement before working with us. Additionally, we employ online security measures, GDPR-compliant tools with multi-factor authentication, transit encryption, and SSL/TLS certificates. Many of them are even certified under the ISO 27001 standard.
